Starkweather & Shepley Supports Gloria Gemma Foundation at Annual 5K
PROVIDENCE, RI – OCTOBER 2026 – Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage, Inc. proudly participated in this year’s Gloria Gemma 5K, held at 195 District Park in Providence, Rhode Island. This year marked the seventh consecutive year Starkweather & Shepley has sponsored and participated in the event, joining thousands of participants in raising awareness and vital funds to support individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
As both a sponsor and active participant, Starkweather & Shepley was represented by employees who came together to walk and run in support of the Foundation’s mission. Their participation reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves and supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The Gloria Gemma 5K is part of the larger Flames of Hope: A Celebration of Life weekend, Rhode Island’s signature event honoring breast cancer survivors and remembering those who have lost their lives to the disease. The weekend brings together survivors, families, friends, and community members in a powerful display of support, strength, and hope.
