Partners in Philanthropy Award from AFP Rhode Island
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – NOVEMBER 2026 Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage, Inc. has been recognized as a Partner in Philanthropy by the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Rhode Island Chapter (AFP-RI) during its annual National Philanthropy Day Celebration Breakfast.
National Philanthropy Day recognizes the profound impact philanthropy has on communities and society. Each year, AFP-RI honors individuals and organizations whose generosity, leadership, and dedication have made a meaningful difference in advancing philanthropy and strengthening the communities they serve.
Starkweather & Shepley was nominated for the recognition by the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) in acknowledgment of the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting local nonprofit organizations serving children and families through the Starkweather & Shepley Charitable Fund. Through this fund, the company provides grants to organizations working to improve the lives of individuals and families throughout the communities where its employees live and work.
