Starkweather & Shepley Supports Brown University Student Emergency Fund Through Local Providence Business, Frog & Toad
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI FEBRUARY 2026 – Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc. (S&S) is proud to announce a community-based initiative with Frog & Toad, a Providence-based local business, in support of Brown University’s Student Emergency Support Fund.
Through this initiative, Starkweather & Shepley purchased more than 300 custom “Hope, Power, Providence” sweatshirts from Frog & Toad. All funds are being directed to Brown University’s Student Emergency Support Fund to provide critical resources to students, including mental health and trauma support, following the recent tragic school shooting on Brown University’s campus.
This initiative reflects Starkweather & Shepley’s commitment to supporting both its local community and institutions of higher education during challenging times. By partnering with Frog & Toad, S&S supports a local business while contributing to a meaningful cause focused on student well-being, safety, and recovery.
