Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Named as One of the 2025 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI APRIL 2025 – Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc. (S&S) is proud to announce its 13th consecutive recognition as one of Rhode Island’s Best Places to Work in 2025, as awarded by Providence Business News. This survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Rhode Island, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The list of Best Places to Work in Rhode Island is made up of 64 companies.
Companies from Rhode Island entered the two-part survey process to determine the 2025 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
