Randy White Jr. Joins S&S as Loss Control Specialist

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI MAY 2022 – Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage, Inc. (S&S) is excited to announce Randy White Jr. has joined the Loss Control and Safety Team. Randy adds a new dimension to the Loss Control Program by offering clients both Safety and Industrial Hygiene (IH) services. He will focus on nuisance monitoring as well as environmental monitoring and sampling.

Prior to joining the S&S team, Randy worked at Johnson & Johnson DePuy Synthes facility as a Health and Safety Specialist. In addition, Randy previously worked as a Carpenter and Safety Specialist on notable projects such as The Big Dig and the Ted Williams Tunnel. Randy has experience working with several biotech companies including Biogen, Inc., as Associate III in cell culture and media. And working with Abbott Laboratories and Amgen.

“As a gatekeeper of the environment, I believe that I can make a monumental contribution through S&S as a Loss Control Specialist by helping to eliminate our client’s exposures to hazards, which in turn will lead to improvements in our environment for future generations. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with our clients and to educate them on the importance of environmental health and safety,” stated Randy.

Randy comes to Starkweather with a master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and Microbiology from the University of Rhode Island. Randy’s experience in Industrial Hygiene will further allow S&S to protect our clients and their workforce with an even more dynamic approach to health and safety.
