EAST PROVIDENCE, RI JULY 2025 – Starkweather & Shepley has been named a 2025 Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) and Reagan Consulting, a prestigious designation that recognizes top-performing independent insurance agencies nationwide.
Out of 1,146 agencies nominated this year, only 348 earned the designation, placing Starkweather & Shepley among an elite group of firms that demonstrate superior operational excellence and outstanding business performance.
To qualify, agencies must be nominated by either a state association or insurance carrier and then undergo a rigorous evaluation process. Participants submit extensive financial and operational data, which is measured against critical performance benchmarks such as revenue growth, profitability, productivity, customer retention, and financial stability.
