Chris Nadeau Appointed Starkweather & Shepley’s
Employee Benefits Practice Leader
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – July 2026 – Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage, Inc. is pleased to announce that Chris Nadeau has assumed the role of Employee Benefits Practice Leader. Chris succeeds Joan Greenwell, who is retiring after more than 15 years of dedicated leadership in that role.

Chris brings more than 35 years of leadership in employee benefits consulting, along with a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships and delivering innovative, client-focused solutions. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations navigate the evolving employee benefits landscape by designing customized strategies that improve employee well-being while supporting long-term business objectives.
As Practice Leader, Chris will oversee the continued growth and strategic direction of Starkweather & Shepley’s Employee Benefits Practice. He will focus on expanding the firm’s consulting capabilities, strengthening carrier and client relationships, and delivering data-driven, customized solutions that help clients attract, retain, and support their workforce.
