The DOT requires that employers of commercial vehicles have reasonable suspicion training under 382.603. This training will cover the drug and alcohol monitoring requirements as well as what to look for when it comes to FMCSA compliancy with Drugs and Alcohol. One member of the supervisory staff is required to have this training for all DOT/ FMCSA commercial carriers.
