Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc. (S&S) has promoted Robert Barresi to Senior Vice President. Robert is currently an associate of Starkweather’s Construction Practice Group, where he identifies prospective clients within the construction and real estate development industries throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. He works with closely held private companies and provides them with the tools and capabilities to reduce their total cost of risk to become more profitable.

Robert joined S&S in 2014 as an Account Executive and soon after assumed the positions of Assistant Vice President in 2016 and Vice President in 2018. He is a member of multiple associations and organizations including the Associated Builders and Contractors of MA, Utility Contractors Association of New England, Construction Industries of MA, Associated Subcontractors of MA, and the Massachusetts Building Congress. Additionally, Robert is a Certified Insurance Counselor, Accredited Advisor of Insurance, Certified Risk Manager, Associate in Risk Management, and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist.
He graduated summa cum laude from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA with a Presidential Scholar distinction. Robert currently resides in Tewksbury, MA, and works out of the Massachusetts office.
